Join Allied Universal at a shelter location as an unarmed, driving Patrol Officer, supporting a welcoming environment through routine patrols, visible presence, access control, and clear, respectful communication. You will document and report security-related concerns, assist staff and visitors with directions and questions, and respond to situations with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a shelter location.
Respond to incidents, disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
Control access by monitoring entrances, checking identification when required, managing visitor sign-in and/or sign-out, and directing individuals to the appropriate area or point of contact.
Complete detailed shift reports, incident reports, and activity logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of 1 year of security experience is required.
An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
