Job Description

As a Security Officer - Front Desk Tech/Media Full-Time in Playa Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk professional in a dynamic tech and media location, you serve as the first point of contact, welcoming guests and assisting employees with security-related needs. Your presence helps to deter incidents while you maintain a professional and approachable demeanor. You will utilize technology to support daily operations and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, verifying identification, and managing access control at the front desk in a technology and media environment.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including monitoring visitor logs and maintaining a professional presence at the front desk.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with clients, employees, and/or guests to address inquiries and provide information regarding the location's policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to help to deter unauthorized access and support the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Assist with emergency response activities and other security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
