Security Officer Patrol

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, boarding areas, waiting areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and public areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Support orderly operations by documenting daily activities, completing incident reports, and providing clear directions and assistance to the public as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
