Security Officer Patrol

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic and/or visitors, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.

Support site operations by preparing reports, maintaining assigned logs, and following Allied Universal standards along with location-specific protocols during routine and emergency-related situations.
Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
