Job Description

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Foot Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, interact with employees and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate clearly while documenting observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, offices, loading docks, and perimeter points, documenting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Monitor access control points by checking identification, verifying visitor authorization, and directing deliveries and contractors according to site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site representatives and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs on patrol activity, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate shift updates to oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
