Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Gate in Fort Pierce, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will help manage access control, greet residents and guests, verify credentials, and monitor entry points for security-related concerns. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document activity, and communicate clearly with the team and community members. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, property rules, and security-related protocols.
• Control entry and exit at the community gate and/or access point by verifying resident credentials, confirming visitor authorization, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community common areas, parking areas, amenities, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors and/or gates, and policy violations.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, visitor traffic, and incidents, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a guard
• Must possess a minimum of 6 months of security experience related
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
