Job Summary
As a Security/Host I.D./ Service assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience. Your responsibilities will include assisting servers, clearing tables, and preparing the dining space for new guests. In addition our Host I.D. is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff. This includes enforcing establishment rules, checking IDs, managing crowd control, and responding to disturbances in a calm, professional manner.

Duties

• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean dining environment.
• Assist servers with food and drink service as needed, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as necessary.
• Help with the organization of utensils, glassware, and plates to ensure efficient service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and guest requests.
• Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Diffuse tense situations and escort unruly or aggressive patrons out of the venue.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, managers, and law enforcement when necessary.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents, including fights, medical emergencies, or theft.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
