Senior Account Manager (Marketing, Events, Brand Activation)

Clockwork is a marketing consultancy based in Bahrain, operating in the GCC. We operate on a dual-model: delivering high-level tailored mandates for world-class clients / international brands and creating/owning our own Intellectual Properties (IP), most notably the Bahrain Jazz Fest®. Since 2017, we have produced international-scale experiences for 200,000+ visitors. We are a lean, high-performance team that bridges the gap between strategic marketing consultancy and large-scale event production.


Role Description

We are seeking an acute, business-minded Senior Account Manager who can thrive in a high-stakes, dual-model environment. This is not a traditional agency role. You must be equally capable of managing a client’s brand mandate with precision and driving the commercial growth of our own proprietary projects.

We need a professional who is in-the-know, proactively monitoring the brand landscape, tracks industry shifts and possesses the commercial acumen to close deals. You must be obsessed with brand quality and have the operational discipline to execute complex, multi-stakeholder projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Closing & IP Growth: Leverage an existing Bahraini & GCC network to secure sponsorships, partnerships and new client mandates. You are required to drive ROI for both client work and our own IPs.
  • Acute Brand Stewardship: Monitor and track the regional brand landscape. You must be deeply plugged in to industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities for Clockwork to lead the market.
  • Mandate & Project Command: Lead the end-to-end delivery of client projects and internal IP. You will manage the lifecycle from conceptual closing to on-site execution, ensuring world-class standards at every touchpoint, with complete alignment with the team.
  • Operational Agility: As part of the core team, you must be able to switch from high-level strategic proposals to ground-level vendor management and event logistics without friction.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Agency & Brand Expertise: A deep understanding of the agency industry and a genuine passion for brand work. You must be capable of tracking and analyzing brand performance instinctively.
  • A proven track record of closing commercial deals and managing high-value relationships.
  • An established professional network in Bahrain and the wider GCC is essential. You must plug-and-play within the local corporate and government sectors.
  • Language: Professional fluency in English is mandatory with an added advantage for fluency in Arabic.
  • 5–7 years of experience managing client projects and large-scale events under pressure.
  • You must be business-oriented, proactive and zero-tolerance for ambiguity. We need a motiivated professional who understands the value of our IPs and the discipline of client service.
  • Driver’s license is essential
