Emaara Contracting L.L.C. is a fast-growing real estate development and contracting company, specializing in residential and commercial projects across Ajman in the UAE. With a focus on quality, innovation, and timely delivery, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the construction sector to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Prepare, analyze, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, cost allocations, and project-based accounting.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cash flow, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts.
• Supervise junior accountants and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure accurate VAT filings and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
• Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to improve efficiency.
• Provide financial insights to support management in decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, WIP (Work in Progress), and cost control.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
