Senior Accountant

Tasks:
Timely and Accurate Reconciliations Reporting: Ensure timely issuance of bank, inter-company, and general ledger reconciliations within set deadlines. Reports must include accurate descriptions, relevant system/bank references, and the correct identification of staff responsible for clearing reconciling items. Proactively follow up to ensure prompt resolution of outstanding items.

Bank Reconciliations: Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations across multiple group entities, ensuring that all financial transactions are correctly recorded and discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved. This role requires coordination with internal departments to investigate mismatches and ensure alignment with the company’s financial systems.

Inter-Company Reconciliations: Conduct reconciliations between inter-company accounts to verify the integrity of financial data across entities. This includes obtaining statements from partner entities and ensuring all transactions align.

General Ledger Reconciliations: Perform periodic general ledger (GL) reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Verify that all transactions are correctly recorded, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve any issues.
