Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate accounting and be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, VAT filings, and internal policies.
• Reconcile bank statements and review financial transactions for accuracy.
• Collaborate with auditors and support external audits.
• Monitor project-related financials, property revenue, leasing income, and expenses.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in real estate or property development.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
