We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Accountant to join our organization and report directly to the CEO. The successful candidate will lead comprehensive accounting operations, provide strategic financial insights, and ensure the highest standards of financial record-keeping and regulatory compliance while serving as a trusted financial advisor to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Management:

Lead all accounting operations and provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO

Oversee comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to support business decisions

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to optimize financial operations

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Advanced Accounting & Financial Reporting:

Maintain accurate and comprehensive accounting records for all business transactions

Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with full accountability
-
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management

Manage fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking

Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for CEO and board review
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian accounting standards and regulations

Lead VAT calculations, filings, and compliance management
-
Oversee ZATCA e-invoicing system implementation and ongoing compliance

Manage external audit processes and maintain audit-ready documentation

Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance updates

Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks
Leadership & Strategic Support:

Provide direct financial and strategic support to the CEO

Lead special financial projects and due diligence activities

Collaborate with executive team on strategic initiatives and business planning

Supervise and mentor junior finance staff when applicable

Coordinate with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) strongly preferred

5-8 years of progressive accounting experience with senior-level responsibilities

Previous experience in direct executive reporting relationships preferred

Extensive experience with accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar)

Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting standards, VAT regulations, and corporate law
Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and MS Office Suite

Expert understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting

Strong experience in financial statement preparation and analysis

Comprehensive knowledge of ZATCA e-invoicing system and requirements

Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools
