We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and professional Accountant to join our team, who will also assist with Administration tasks to support our growing organization.
Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. In addition to accounting responsibilities, this role will include Office Administration-related tasks such as payroll processing, employee record management, and supporting Team success efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Responsibilities:
Controlling Income and Expenses: Monitor and control income and expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and identifying areas for cost savings.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
Driver Performance Monitoring:
Weekly Performance Reporting: Compile and analyze weekly performance reports for drivers, assessing metrics such as on-time arrivals, customer feedback, and overall service quality.
Performance Overview Creation: Develop a comprehensive performance overview for each driver, establishing clear targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvement.
Accident and Fine Reporting: Record and report any accidents or fines incurred by drivers, preparing detailed documentation for management review.
Deduction Suggestions: Prepare suggestions for deductions related to accidents, fines, or performance issues for management approval, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process.
Office Administration:
- Payroll Processing: Manage the payroll process, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits for all employees.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and manage offboarding procedures for departing employees, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Administration Reporting: Prepare Employee-related reports and metrics to support management decision-making and workforce planning.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of Administration functions and payroll processing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
