Role Overview

We are hiring a full-time Senior Accountant to support the financial operations at our Thrissur head office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring tax compliance, assisting with audits, and supporting the senior finance team in everyday accounting and documentation work.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and ledger entries in Tally or equivalent software
• Handle purchase entries, sales billing, stock register, and reconciliations
• Generate GST reports and assist in filing GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, purchase bills, and vouchers
• Assist with monthly closing, reporting, and preparing MIS reports
• Support external audits and ensure proper compliance
• Monitor petty cash and bank transaction entries
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment and invoicing
• Communicate with the senior finance team for cross-verification of reports

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in accounting (preferably in jewellery/retail sector)
• Education: B.Com/M.Com or equivalent with accounting background
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and basic GST utilities
• Language: Malayalam & English (Hindi is an added advantage)
• Other: Should be willing to join immediately; candidates from Thrissur will be preferred
