Senior Accountant

We seek an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations of a Residential Plotting Project . Must have excellent and thorough knowledge of accounting principles and should be proficient in Tally, MS Excel, and with strong understanding of taxation and compliances. Candidates with experience in Real Estate will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and vouchers for the project.
• Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP / accounting software.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and client account statements.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly/quarterly MIS, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Track project-wise expenses, collections, and profitability.
• Support management in budgeting and variance analysis.
• Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory compliances.
• Manage RERA-related accounting compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Project-Specific Responsibilities
• Handle accounting for plot sales, customer advances, installment collections, and cancellations.
• Ensure correct documentation and reconciliation of customer accounts.
• Monitor project-related vendor payments, contractor bills, and material purchases.
• Team Management & Coordination
• Supervise junior accountants and coordinate with site teams.
• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, statutory authorities, and consultants.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, infrastructure, or residential plotting projects.
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• In-depth understanding of taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and statutory compliances.
• Familiarity with RERA accounting & compliances (preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
