Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of accounting experience and will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting financial decision-making, and managing foreign exchange margins within the aviation industry. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards.

General Ledger Maintenance:

• Maintain the company's general ledger by recording all financial transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Verify invoices, receipts, and purchase orders for accuracy.

Expense Management:

• Monitor and control expenses to ensure they are within budget.
• Assist in budget preparation and tracking.

Bank Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of cash transactions.

Tax Compliance:

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, including income tax and sales tax.
• Stay updated on tax regulations and changes that may affect the company.

Financial Analysis:

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
• Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

Foreign Exchange Margin Management:

• Monitor foreign exchange rates and their impact on the company's financials.
• Execute strategies to minimize foreign exchange margin risks.
• Maintain records of foreign currency transactions and hedging activities.

Audit Support:

• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Address audit inquiries and recommendations.

Financial Records Management:

• Organize and maintain financial records and documents in an organized and accessible manner.
• Tally is needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
