Senior Accountant

Job description:

A financial services firm (Tax, Accounting, and Auditing) registered in Dubai (UAE) urgently requires a Senior Accounts and tax Consultant to be based in Peshawar (Pakistan).

We will consider candidates with the below minimum experience and qualifications.

Education: ACCA & CA (Finalist or fully Qualified).

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years (Fully Qualified) 5-6 Years (Partially qualified) solid Accounting and taxation experience who can handle the Full accounting cycle from entering invoices to management reporting.

ERP Package: Working knowledge of accounting software is a must. (Quickbooks, Xero, Zoho etc.)

Language: Must be fluent in English (written and oral).

MS Office: Word, Excel (Creating Spreadsheets, tables, analyzing data, Pivot tables and Charts, formulas)

Willing to work under pressure.

JOB DETAIL DESCRIPTION:

TAXATION:

· Researching and getting subject matter expertise in UAE Taxation i.e. VAT (Value added tax) CT (Corporation Tax) and Excise Tax law. (Candidates will be required to learn the law within a short period of time.

· Looking after VAT Registrations, VAT De-registration, Voluntary Disclosure, VAT Reconsideration, and VAT returns filings for the portfolio of clients. (Initial Training and understanding will be provided) but the candidate will take responsibility and will advise the partner and clients after the probationary period.

· Dealing with clients for day-to-day matters.

· Providing subject matter expertise to various businesses.

· Prepare VAT returns and related VAT compliance filings for clients.

ACCOUNTING:

· Recording of all financial transactions in Accounting software and preparation of Financial statements every month for the portfolio of clients.

· Any other special assignment relating to the subject matter. Internal audit, Reconciliation of accounts, etc.

VAT Return and Corporate Tax Filing:

Filing VAT Return and Corporate Tax Filing for the portfolio of client.

OTHER:

Working side by side with the CEO for other business operation matters.
