- Financial Reporting: Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and reports for management.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all account balances are accurate.
- Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead and support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and provide recommendations for financial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and coordinate with internal and external auditors and tax authorities.
- Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets and improve financial processes.
- Staff Oversight: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior accounting staff and bookkeepers.
