Senior Accountant

Job Summary :

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting management in strategic decision-making. This role involves supervising junior accountants, maintaining internal controls, and providing insights to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP).
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheets, and other financial accounts.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and assist in the preparation of tax returns, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and other stakeholders as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred), accounting software, and excellent analytical and leadership skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 5 years experiences preferred for F&B and excellent communication in English language.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
