Sales Executive – Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Doha, Qatar

A fast-growing logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking a high-performing Sales Executive to join the team. This role focuses on new client acquisition, sales growth, and relationship management within the logistics and freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate brings industry experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a results-driven attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics (air, ocean, road, customs, etc.).
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms.
  • Prepare customized proposals and close deals that align with business goals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Client Acquisition

  • Develop a pipeline of prospective clients across multiple industries.
  • Conduct client meetings (virtual or in-person) to understand supply chain needs and recommend tailored logistics solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contracts to secure new business.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through regular check-ins and service reviews.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention through proactive problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with internal operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain services.
  • Knowledge of international shipping processes, Incoterms, customs clearance, and transport documentation.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with both import and export operations.
  • Existing client network in industries like manufacturing, retail, automotive, or e-commerce.
  • Ability to adapt sales approach to different customer segments.
