Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Dharamtala, Kolkata
Salary: ₹35,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at our Dharamtala office. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in accounting operations, including GST & TDS filing and returns, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time.
• Prepare and file TDS returns, ensure timely payment and compliance.
• Maintain ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and monitor accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support in audit-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
• Manage data entry, vouchers, and journal entries efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and return filing procedures.
• Proficient in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
