Senior Accountant

Role : Senior Accountant

Salary : AED 18,000

Location : Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with VAT, Corporate Tax, and other regulatory requirements.
• Work with auditors, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Help strengthen internal controls and optimize accounting processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Track expenses, manage invoicing, and follow up on payments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Use accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics) to maintain clean, auditable financials.
• Manage bank accounts and trade documentation.

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7-8 years of accounting experience, ideally in startups or fast-moving environments.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Understanding of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
