Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other tax filings.
- Coordinate and support external/internal audits.
- Manage cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor accounting systems and recommend process improvements.
- Review journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist management in financial planning, variance analysis, and MIS reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (Tally Prime, SAP, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
