Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other tax filings.
  • Coordinate and support external/internal audits.
  • Manage cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Monitor accounting systems and recommend process improvements.
  • Review journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist management in financial planning, variance analysis, and MIS reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software (Tally Prime, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
