Senior Accountant

Job Title: General Accountant
Location: Ras Al Khor Ind.2, Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries, and post accruals
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with VAT returns, tax filings, regulatory compliance
• Liaise with auditors and external consultants
• Ensure internal controls and accounting policies are followed
• Provide management reporting and financial analysis
• Experience with ZOHO Books and Odoo Software MUST

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification preferred (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CMA)
• 2–5 years (or more) of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT, corporate regulations
• Hands-on experience with accounting software / ERP (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Good communication skills (English required; Arabic or another language is a plus)
