Senior Accountant

About Us:
We are a well-established SME company operating in Dubai for over 20 years with a dynamic team. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team and manage our Dubai operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and accounts in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle VAT compliance, filing, and reporting as per UAE VAT laws.
• Manage corporate tax compliance and liaise with relevant authorities.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed.
• Assist management with financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
• Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Lead a team including branches .
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
