Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with company policies and Bahrain financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle accounting activities and daily financial operations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Perform bank, vendor, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare management reports
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with Bahrain laws, VAT regulations, and company policies
  • Supervise and guide junior accounting staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Bahrain VAT regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
