Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial controls, along with the ability to support management with timely financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Ensure timely filing of returns and coordination with consultants/auditors
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Assist during internal and statutory audits

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• CA-Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax
• Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in manufacturing / retail / wellness / FMCG industry (preferred)
• Experience handling audits and statutory compliance independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
