Senior Accountant

Curexly looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong hands-on expertise in taxation, financial reporting, and multi-country compliance. This role is suited for someone who can independently manage complex accounting structures and handle multiple entities under consolidated reporting.

What you’ll be responsible for:
End-to-end accounting and financial reporting
Preparation and review of full financial statements
Handling tax laws, returns, VAT/GST for UAE, UK, Canada, and Pakistan
Direct and indirect tax compliance, filings, and coordination where required Bank reconciliations and full account reconciliations
Managing multiple companies’ accounts under a single group or name Identifying discrepancies, corrections, and cleanup requirements
Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting

Who this role is for:
5+ years of solid senior-level accounting experience
Strong command over international taxation and compliance
Proven experience with multi-entity or group accounting
Deep understanding of reconciliations and financial controls
Confident handling accounts independently with minimal supervision
Strong English communication and client-handling abilityTools & standards:
Strong working knowledge of IFRS / IAS
Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
Strong command of Excel / Google SheetsRole details:
