Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on accounting experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts (Day Book, Cash Book, Ledger, Journal)
• Handle GST compliance: returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, and filing
• Manage TDS, Income Tax, and statutory deductions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Bank reconciliation and cash flow management
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Handle payroll processing and related compliance
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and inspections
• Assist management with financial analysis and cost control

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of proven accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
• Experience with Tally / accounting software
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in manufacturing / FMCG / food production / retail industry
• Stability in previous employment
• Familiar with compliance and audit processes
