SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate must be locally available in Bahrain, ready to join without notice, and possess strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in financial reporting, compliance, and overall accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain financial regulations and company policies
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely tax filings
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve financial issues
• Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)

Requirements

• Currently residing in Bahrain (mandatory)
• Available for immediate joining
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
