Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & GST Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, GST compliance, and supplier invoice processing for our restaurant operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely GST filings, handling vendor payments, and supporting overall financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain daily accounting records including sales, purchases, expenses, and petty cash.
- Record and reconcile POS sales with accounting software.
- Manage cash, bank, and card settlement reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
GST & Statutory Compliance
- Handle GST registration, filing, and compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, etc.).
- Track and reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC).
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and assessments.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Verify, process, and book supplier invoices.
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage payment schedules and follow up with vendors.
Inventory & Cost Control Support
- Assist in tracking inventory and food cost.
- Support stock reconciliation with purchase and sales data.
- Monitor wastage and expense controls.
Compliance & Coordination
- Coordinate with external auditors, CA firms, and tax consultants.
- Maintain compliance calendar and statutory records.
- Support management with financial insights and reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting (restaurant/hospitality industry preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of GST laws and compliance.
- Experience in handling supplier invoices and vendor payments.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Good knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience with multi-outlet restaurant accounting.
- Knowledge of F&B costing and inventory systems.
- Experience with POS integration.
- Prior exposure to audits and statutory inspections.
