About the Role

Mindwhiz is looking for a highly competent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and audit coordination.

The ideal candidate must hold both CA and ACCA (qualified or finalist) credentials. Candidates who are also CFA (qualified or finalist) will be preferred. The role requires strong technical accounting expertise, analytical capability, and leadership skills to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective support to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, Local GAAP, and US GAAP.
• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely statutory compliance
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Identify process improvements and implement financial controls
• Support management with MIS reports and strategic financial insights

Requirements

• Must have CA and ACCA (Qualified or Finalist)
• CFA (Qualified or Finalist) will be preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong experience in audit handling and regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Local GAAP, and US GAAP
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage 500, etc.)
• Good understanding of taxation and financial regulations

Preferred Skills

• CFA (Qualified or Finalist)
• Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
• Exposure to ERP implementations/upgrades
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of multi-country accounting standards and MIS reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
