Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
As an Accountant you’ll be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

JobType: Full-Time
Age: 25 to 30 Years
Location: Bangalore.
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree Accounting, Finance or a related field
Desired Experience: 2 - 5 years

Desired Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close
• Hands-on experience with accounting software - Tally
• Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Proficient in MS Office, Zoom as well CRM software.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting based on payment reconciliation
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns channels.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Liaise with the Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures
