- Job Cost Accounting: Review and analyze capitalization of costs, ensuring proper allocation of labor, materials, and overhead to specific projects.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Contract Management: Manage subcontractor contracts, change orders, and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with project managers to create budgets, monitor performance against them, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Month-End Close: Perform reconciliations, manage journal entries, and ensure accuracy in sub-ledgers.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including tax, GST, TDS, and insurance certificates. Jordan Foster Construction +6
- Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
