Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join a dynamic healthcare organization near North Bergen. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and provide insights that support business decisions. This role offers exposure to multiple business units and opportunities to contribute to process improvements and special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

• Ensure proper revenue recognition and analyze financial trends

• Present insights to leadership and collaborate cross-functionally

• Support general ledger maintenance and audit documentation

• Drive process improvements and contribute to special projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA a plus

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition

• Advanced Excel skills

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Highly detail-oriented and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
