Senior Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to the accurate preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Prepare detailed financial reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) standards
• Conduct accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation
• Support cash management activities, including forecasting, bank reconciliations, and liquidity analysis

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles including GAAP, IFRS, and specific standards for nonprofit and governmental accounting
• Strong understanding of journal entries, accounts payable, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
• Ability to perform detailed account analysis while maintaining high accuracy under tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments and present financial information clearly

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
