SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in managing accounting functions within a fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local financial regulations.
• Prepare and review VAT reports and tax-related documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes.
• Monitor cash flow and support management with financial insights.
• Supervise junior accounting staff when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience (experience in trading/distribution companies is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
