SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Manama. The ideal candidate should be currently based in Bahrain and available to join immediately. The role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare VAT filings and ensure timely tax compliance.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and financial process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in Bahrain or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience handling VAT and regulatory compliance in Bahrain.
• Experience in audit coordination and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
