Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Handle UAE VAT filing and compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations
• Assist with corporate tax preparation and financial audits
• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
• Monitor company cash flow and financial transactions
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Knowledge of VAT and UAE Corporate Tax regulations
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, etc.)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Professional certification such as ACCA / CPA / CMA is an advantage

Salary

AED 4,000 – 6000 per month (depending on experience)
