Senior Accountant

OnePM Franchising holds the franchise rights for Pret A Manger across Kuwait, KSA, and Qatar. Originally founded in London, UK, Pret A Manger is a globally recognized F&B brand known for its freshly prepared food, organic coffee, and commitment to natural, high-quality ingredients — all delivered with exceptional customer experiences.

As we continue to expand across Kuwait and the region, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in leading financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in general ledger accounting, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, procurement, and senior management to drive financial efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting & General Ledger Management

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, accruals, and adjustments.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis

• Support the Senior Finance Manager / Controller in preparing annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis and key performance insights to support management decision-making.

Compliance, Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely preparation of documentation and reports.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures.

Payroll Management

• Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy of earnings, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and allowances.
• Review and approve payroll calculations prior to disbursement.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications :

• Minimum 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, CA, or FMVA are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial controls.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
