Senior Accountant

Prepare and review complex financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.

Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.

Perform reconciliations and analysis of accounts.

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Lead the development of budgets and financial forecasts.

Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant information.

Oversee and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

Review and approve journal entries and adjustments.

Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.

Prepare audit schedules and support auditors during the audit process.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax filings.

Guide tax planning strategies.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

Implement best practices in accounting processes.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Provide training and guidance on accounting principles and procedures.

Utilize advanced accounting software and financial systems.

Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial systems.

Effectively communicate financial information to management and stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
