Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant whose primary responsibility is managing and developing people while delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.
This role requires strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, U.S. tax compliance, and international tax considerations, combined with the ability to lead teams and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
The ideal candidate is organized, inquisitive, client-facing, and capable of translating complex financial data into actionable business insights.
This is a fully remote position working closely with leadership and accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management (Primary Function)
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and bookkeepers
- Review financial statements, bookkeeping, and tax work for accuracy and compliance
- Provide technical guidance on U.S. GAAP and tax matters
- Ensure deadlines, quality standards, and client deliverables are consistently met
- Improve internal processes, workflows, and team efficiency
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Provide proactive tax planning and strategic financial advice
- Interpret financial statements and communicate insights clearly to clients
- Identify opportunities to improve client cash flow, profitability, and tax position
- Build long-term, trust-based client relationships
Accounting & Tax Oversight
- Oversee preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Review and guide U.S. tax filings (individual, business, and multi-entity structures)
- Support international tax considerations (e.g., foreign entities, reporting, compliance)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and applicable international regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- US CPA license preferred
- 5+ years of accounting and tax experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations
- Experience with international tax or cross-border clients preferred
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Strong client-facing and communication skills

Pay: $72,950.59 - $87,854.48 per year
