Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of our growing business. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing month-end close processes, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting job costing and operational analysis across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
• Review and maintain accurate job costing and project profitability reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Assist with external CPA, audit, tax, and banking requests
• Identify and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
• Support leadership with financial analysis and special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with Microsoft Excel required
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
