Senior Accountant

AKX Investments is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing investment team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, forecasting, financial analysis, and investment evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
• Perform business forecasting and budgeting to support management decisions
• Handle project accounting, including cost tracking and financial evaluation
• Support financial planning and identify new business and investment opportunities
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and financial regulations
• Manage VAT filing and Corporate Tax filing compliance in UAE
• Ensure accurate and timely VAT return filing and Corporate Tax return filing in accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements
• Assist in preparation and submission of Corporate Tax returns and related documentation
• Support financial evaluation of projects, PPPs, and cross-border investments

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Professional certification required: CPA / ACCA / CMA
• Strong experience in business forecasting, budgeting, and project accounting
• Proficiency in RealSoft ERP business management software or similar ERP accounting systems.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and Corporate Tax compliance
• Strong experience in VAT & Corporate Tax return filing in UAE
• Good understanding of financial reporting and audit processes
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Group of Companies or Holding Company accounting is highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
