Key Responsibilities
Preparation of statutory accounts
Managing a portfolio of UK-based clients
Handling bookkeeping, VAT returns, and year-end accounts
Preparation and review of working papers in Excel
Liaising directly with HMRC
Ensuring all work is completed in line with deadlines and quality standards
Supporting process improvements within the team
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in statutory accounts production using CCH
Proficiency in Xero (mandatory)
Experience With Other Accounting Software
Advanced Excel skills for working papers and reconciliations
Minimum 2.5+ years of UK client experience (bookkeeping, VAT, and accounts)
Ideally 3+ years of UK experience and 5+ years of overall accounting experience
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements
