Senior Accountant

Financial Management:

Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Ajman
Experience: Minimum 6 years
Software Proficiency: Tally Prime Gold or equivalent accounting software

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings efficiently.

Audit and Compliance:

• Assist in internal audits and support the annual external audit process.
• Ensure financial accuracy by reviewing and reconciling accounts and statements.
• Identify and rectify discrepancies in financial documents.
• Knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations
• Expert knowledge in VAT Law, VAT filing, VAT Refund Filing and all complicated aspects of VAT specifically for import export and Designated company transactions.

MIS Reporting:

• Generate various MIS reports to provide valuable financial insights to management.
• Present financial data and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Inventory and Asset Management:
• Monitor stock performance and provide insights on inventory management.
• Support the financial aspects of asset tracking and depreciation schedules.

Banking and Financial Relationships:

• Liaise with banks and financial institutions to manage accounts, credits, and related services.
• Manage day-to-day financial transactions and oversee payment processing.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments, including the sales, service, and MPS teams, to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance on accounting best practices.

Cost Optimization:

• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs.
• Suggest enhancements to accounting systems and processes for better efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally Prime Gold or similar accounting software.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to present financial findings to management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations
