Job Purpose
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, effective cost control, and timely financial reporting. The role supports management through financial analysis and decision-making and oversees the work of junior accounting staff to ensure accuracy and compliance across all accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
- Manage accounting activities for the main company and subsidiary entities.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with management reports.
- Support management with budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and financial analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) regulations, including timely return filing and maintenance of supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as HR, Sales, Operations, and Logistics to ensure financial accuracy and proper documentation flow.
- Handle product costing for manufacturing operations, including BOM, material consumption, labor, and overheads, and analyze cost variances to support effective cost control.
- Coordinate with logistics teams, suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure accurate and timely import and export documentation.
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law, WPS requirements, and internal approval procedures.
- Lead, guide, and review the work of junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information and ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Proven experience using Tally Prime; experience with Odoo ERP is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly coordinate with internal teams and management.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
