Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our UAE-based organization. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, and supporting audits and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• B.Com (mandatory)
• M.Com / CA – preferred (added advantage)
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE regulations
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete books of accounts and general ledger
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management
• Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws
• Handle auditing activities, including internal and external audits
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and company policies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Payroll processing and related statutory compliance
• Support management with accurate financial reports and insights
