About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a minimum of 4-6 years of UAE (home country) experience to join our team. Candidates with a background in retail, interior fit-out and joinery are highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-cycle accounting, financial management, inventory control, and operational support, along with experience handling online sales portals such as Talabat, Noon, and Careem, and working with ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and reports)
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor and manage bank transactions
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and procurement processes
• Handle Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), vendor coordination, and payment processing
• Coordinate and monitor online sales platforms (Talabat, Noon, Careem, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and UAE statutory regulations
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Conduct financial analysis and implement cost control measures
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities
• Support management with timely financial reporting and strategic insights
• Track project costs and analyze profitability
• Ensure accurate data entry and proper record-keeping
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data

Requirements

• Minimum 4 -6years of experience in UAE or home country as an Accountant
• Experience in retail, interior fit-out and joinery industry (preferred)
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting software
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and online sales platforms
• Hands-on experience with VAT, corporate tax, and compliance
• Available for immediate interview/joining

Qualifications

• M.Com / MBA / CA / CMA
• Additional professional certifications are an advantage
