Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, handling VAT-related tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and petty cash
• Prepare and submit VAT reports and ensure UAE VAT compliance
• Maintain general ledger and accounting records accurately
• Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and clients when required
• Prepare payroll and monitor employee expenses
• Assist management with budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure all documentation and filing systems are properly maintained

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Experience in construction/interior fit-out industry is an advantage
